Week 20: Manchester England:Birkenhead

Happy V-Day fam!

We had a great week with seven new investigators! That is the most I have had in a week on my mission thus far. The unfortunate part is that four of them committed to church and none of them came. So pray that Naomi, Vicky & Kyle, and Linda will have a desire to come to church and that we will continue to teach them. Naomi is from Accra, Ghana which was exciting to find out! She said that when I visit Ghana that I will love it.

My knee has progressed a little better but is not normal. I had fluid drained last week and the doc said "Wow, they usually don't have this much" referring to the fluid. He said also that it is most likely damaged cartlidge or, less likely, a partial tear in the ligament. It has became more flexible as time has came but I still experience pain. Less pain, but it is still there. I probably have been too hard on it this week just because I don't want to be idle and slow the work, but I will take better care this week for sure. It is still swollen a bit so hopefully that will eventually go away. I have a physio appointment next week at the hospital.

Yesterday during our tea break, I was reading through my patriarchal blessing and was touched by the Spirit with truth and impressions. Things stuck out like they never have before. It lead to the fact that my goals that I have set for this year will play a big factor in my contributions as a missionary. The connection was so clear and amazing. I am now more motivated to better apply my goals so I can received those promised blessings from the Lord.

I will get those packages on Wednesday at Zone Conference. I will do my best to save the Fritos :) The new one is the one that broke. I wouldn't recommend one with the 360 degree turning. It doesn't do anything and the wheels are tiny and have no strength. A new one would be a fantastic idea.

I loved all of the photos you sent. You all look a little bit different which was weird to see. Maybe it is just the long time I haven't seen you. I will send you photos next week. Keep your photos coming as well. I love seeing all of y'all.

It touched me to see 35 on the back of Colton's jersey. I don't know if that was for me, an increased love for Kevin Durant, or it is just better than any other number. But, I was happy to see it. Thanks Colt :) I know Whitney is pretty and that is not going to change. Read your scriptures daily and pray multiple times. Listen to Mom and Dad and stay focused. She is pretty though, nice work :)

Thanks for all the lovely info you shared. It really put it into perspective how blessed we are to be in the situation we are in. Mosiah 2:41 doesn't lie. You are all of my valentines this V-Day and I love you all! May Heavenly Father continue to bless us in all that we do! Keep shooting the ball, especially at the free throw line, and you will find your shot!

Love,
Cameron
